Project overview

W. E. Clark & Son are jewellers based in Lewes, East Sussex, with an established trading history and a nationwide customer base. Their product range comprises high-value items that benefit from in-person consultation in a well-appointed retail environment. The new ecommerce platform needed to reflect the quality of their jewellery and support the way the store serves both long-standing and new customers.

Approach

The Comtecs in-house development team took responsibility for the full design and build of the Magento 2.x platform to ensure control over security and stability for high-value transactions. Integration work focused on synchronising stock and sales between the online store and the physical shop, reducing the risk of overselling and improving order accuracy.

A complex SEO programme, including Google Shopping setup, was implemented to improve the site’s visibility and deliver return on investment.
