• Identity Data includes first name, maiden name, last name, marital status, title, gender, nationality, disability, date of birth and gender, identity and immigration and eligibility to work data (e.g. photographic identification, passport, signature), languages spoken, driving licence, job title and employer;
• Contact Data includes postal address, email address and telephone numbers and corporate contact details (including business "direct dial" or office address).
• Correspondence Data includes personal data given to us as a result of, and about, our correspondence and personal data about or contained in the substance of complaints, the progress of complaint resolution, and the outcome of complaints.
• Marketing and Communications Data includes your preferences in receiving marketing from us and our third parties and your communication preferences.
• Technical Data includes internet protocol (IP) address, your login data, browser type and version, time zone setting and location, browser plug-in types and versions, operating system and platform and other technology on the devices you use to access this website and information about how you use our website.

• Recruitment data: skills and experience, qualifications, training, job history, LinkedIn contact and profile, references, CV and application, interview and assessment data, vetting and verification information, information related to the outcome of your application, details of any offer made to you.
Web Development / IT Solutions
• Financial Data includes bank account and payment card details (where necessary to conclude service contracts with you).
3. How is your personal data collected?
We use different methods to collect personal data from and about you. You may give us your personal data by filling in forms or by corresponding with us by post, phone, email or otherwise. We may also receive personal data about you from various third parties, such as recruitment websites, and public sources, such as professional social media sites such as LinkedIn.

We will only use your personal data when the law allows us to. Most commonly, we will use your personal data in the following circumstances:
• Where we need to perform the contract we are about to enter into or have entered into with you.
• Where it is necessary for our legitimate interests (or those of a third party) and your interests and fundamental rights do not override those interests.

For our IT Recruitment Services, consent and within our legitimate interest are usually the basis of processing your personal data.
Otherwise, we generally we do not rely on consent as a legal basis for processing your personal data other than in relation to sending third party direct marketing communications to you via email or text message. You have the right to withdraw consent to marketing at any time by contacting us.

Note that we may process your personal data for more than one lawful ground depending on the specific purpose for which we are using your data. 6. Direct Marketing
We strive to provide you with choices regarding certain personal data uses, particularly around marketing and advertising. To determine the appropriate retention period for personal data, we consider the amount, nature, and sensitivity of the personal data, the potential risk of harm from unauthorised use or disclosure of your personal data, the purposes for which we process your personal data and whether we can achieve those purposes through other means, and the applicable legal requirements.
For our IT Recruitment Services, if you provide us with your CV or we obtain your details from a third party, we will keep your details for a period of 48 months. If we put you forward for a position with a third party but are ultimately unsuccessful in a position, we will keep the information we receive about you throughout the recruitment process for a period of 48 months after completion of the application process.

This privacy policy is issued on behalf of the Comtecs group consisting of Comtecs Associates LLP and Comtecs Limited ("Comtecs"). When we mention "we", "us" or "our" in this privacy policy, we are referring to the Comtecs Group. If we are providing IT Recruitment Services the data controller will be Comtecs Limited. If we are providing other services the data controller will be Comtecs Associates LLP. We will make it clear to you who the data controller is at the time your personal data is collected.
